DOROTHY FAHY Dorothy K. Fahy, 98, died Sunday, November 21, 2010, at Normandy Farms in Blue Bell, where she had lived for the past nine years. Born January 28, 1912 in Weiser, ID, she was the daughter of William and Ruth (Hansen) Kitsch. The granddaughter of Idaho pioneers, she spent her first six years in Twin Falls, then moved with her parents to her father's hometown of Philadelphia. She was a graduate of Temple University, where she was president of the French Club. In 1934, she married fellow French Club member William J. Fahy, a high school English teacher. Once her three children were grown, she joined her husband at Philadelphia's Roxborough High School, where she taught special education and French. In retirement, she and her husband spent winters in Englewood, FL. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years and her younger brother, William Kitsch, Jr. Surviving are her children, Christopher Fahy and his wife, Davene, of Thomaston, ME; Michael Fahy and his wife, Judie, of Limerick; Lani Dean and her husband, Robert, of North Wales; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no memorial service. Arrangements are with Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.

what an accomplished lady, i am sure she will be missed but what great memories you have. seems she was very busy and had a full life. but i guess the time you have never seems long enough. sorry for your loss, hopefully dad has met her at the gates of heaven and they are watching over us all. love ya
