crawling...

so i just read that average for baby crawling is 9 months. lars is 7 months...and has only crawled backwards a few times. he is trying very very hard to get moving. we sit on the floor every day and he reaches...reeeeeaaacchheess so hard for toys out of his span - and then, plop, on his face, and then...rolls onto his back. ah, its a fun game, and somebody's got to do it.

i dont think any of my friend's babies are crawling yet either - is this something do to also with the SIDS "back to sleep" stuff? perhaps. but its odd that no one is crawling....

lars has been eating a lot today. cereal with prunes. apples and bananas and then carrots and peas with cereal for dinner. i cant keep up. luckily i have some jars of food. for the past few nights, he has hated what i have made for him...black beans, green beans, chicken, mashed potato. hum....doug's a better cook that i, maybe he could make lars dinner.
